Certified Yoga Therapist- Mount Royal University
Registered Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher
My studentship began when I was 16 years old and my mom invited me to a silent meditation retreat. I became devoted to the path of yoga soon after. This journey has led me to thousands of hours of training in many different places from many different teachers and styles of yoga.
For me yoga is more than the asanas or postures that make up the physical practice, these are actually only the most superficial aspect of this profound unfolding of infinite potentials of the human body and spirit. To me yoga is a state of being.
The style of yoga I practice and teach is deeply rooted in both hatha and bhakti focusing primarily on energetic alignment. This unique approach of mantra chanting, mindful movement and pranayama provides us the space to nurture our inner being and elongate our capacity to feel and expand our ability to love. Above all, I see yoga as a way to come home.
My promise to myself and vow to each of you is to always be a student of this heart journey first and to continue to show up through the waves of life.
I am indebted to all the teachers that have come before me and bow to all those who will come after me. It is with something indescribable that I have found my way home through the wisdom of yoga.

Reiki Master and Teacher
It is my belief that each one of us is walking a beautifully unique psychospiritual path of growth, transformation and healing and we each have tremendous individual gifts to share with the world. As an integrated counsellor, energy worker and intuitive life coach it is my honour to support individuals in their healing journey through deep listening, gentle encouragement and intuitive guidance. I believe each person knows innately what is needed for the relief of dis-ease and discomfort and I can support this process and help awaken the healer within.
My work as a teacher, special educator, educational psychologist, school counsellor and school administrator for more than thirty years has given me many opportunities to work with children, youth and adults in a variety of counselling, therapeutic and educational settings. I received my Ursi Reiki training from Reiki Master and Author Linda Ewishina and Reiki Master Chelsea Harris in British Columbia and had the opportunity to work with them as I completed my training over three years where I had a multitude of experiences with a variety of physical and emotional dis-ease and wide range of ages. I was honoured to participate in providing Reiki for Elders from Simpcw First Nation where I learned much about cultural and intergenerational trauma and issues of racism, oppression and cultural genocide through the residential school process in Canada and the effects these have upon physical health.
At Wikie Wellness I offer Integrated Counselling, Reiki and Energy Work, Intuitive Guidance and Life Coaching for children youth, adults and families. In my practice I have a special interest in supporting healing in the areas of Early Childhood Trauma, Intergenerational Trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety and panic disorders, inattention and lack of focus, and spiritual crisis. I am also interested in providing support to those healing the wounds of systemic racism, oppression and societal trauma. I offer Meditation, Stress Reduction and Personal Development Classes, Reiki Level I,II,III and Master’s Training in the Ursi tradition, and Workshops in Restorative Justice Approaches to Conflict, Creating Trauma Sensitive Education and Work Environments, and Psycho-Spiritual Journeying.
I would be deeply honoured to work with you and your loved ones.

Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine
I have always been acutely aware of my desire to help others but it wasn’t until after several of my family members were at a loss to find answers for their health issues, the search for alternative options lead me to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture. After experiencing acupuncture myself in 2011 I knew I had found the system of medicine I was interested in studying and working in. TCM and acupuncture combines the intricate science of the body with the art of ancient healing practices.
I attended the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (CCTCMA) and received diplomas in Acupuncture and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine after completing 4 years of full time study. In those 4 years I was able to spend hundreds of hours in the clinic getting first hand experience treating and observing many patients with a vast range of ailments. Upon the completion of my 3-year acupuncture program I wrote my national and provincial licensing examinations and successfully became a Registered Acupuncturist. I went on to complete a fourth year to obtain my diploma of Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and was also given the opportunity in the spring of 2016 to travel to Beijing, China to study at the China Japan Friendship Hospital.
I am very excited to be back home and starting my practice in Regina. I want to offer our community a holistic and personalized health care option that will always be tailored to the diverse needs of every client. Just as no two people are exactly the same, in Traditional Chinese Medicine each person is treated based on the unique symptoms they experience. I believe it is important to listen to and to build relationships with clients in order to help support their healing.
At Wilkie Wellness I am currently offering treatments in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture is a safe and effective way to promote health and balance in the body. I am looking forward to providing the community with support in the prevention and treatment of illness and disease.

My mantra is one of fearlessness “she who dispels fear through yoga.” I dare to inspire curiosity of yoga beyond the physical body.
My journey with yoga began shortly after graduating University. Initially I hoped yoga would help me feel more comfortable in my skin, little did I know of the tools I would soon learn for working through grief and trauma. Losing my parents at a young age forced me to face my greatest fear of all, death. Grief held within it the lessons of impermanence and connection beyond the body; concepts which deepened my understanding of yogic philosophy.
My passion for yoga led me on a pilgrimage to Rishikesh, India, the mecca for yoga, where I completed my 200 hour teacher training in Akhanda Yoga, studying under Yogrishi Vishvketu. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the unconditional love and wisdom my teachers have shared with me.
My degree in psychology and training in end of life care serve as assets in my journey allowing me to weave together scientific knowledge of the brain with innate wisdom of the body and spirit.
Yoga has helped me to strengthen willpower, build flexibility through change, and exude fearlessness both on and off the mat.
Outside the studio you can find me singing and playing the harmonium, exploring the outdoors alongside my life partner and puppy, or in the workshop making jewelry for my self-owned business, Relics of A Wolfe.
I am honored to be part of the Wilkie Wellness community and look forward to sharing in this journey together.

Taylor is a teacher, with a diploma in Veterinary Assisting, currently working on degree in Microbiology.
As a student of the yoga for 13 years, the practice has become part of who I am, and sets the foundations of how I choose to live. Yoga has allowed me to understand and fully experience what it is like to be present. This excitement and knowledge ultimately led me to, "The Sattva School of Yoga"
I found a love of yoga early in my teenage years. It helped guide my thought processes and the gentle way I chose to move through life. I have a love for traveling and exploring new places and always believe I am happiest when my yoga mat has found its way to a beach.
Along with a love of yoga and finding mindfulness comes my love of animals. I work in a naturopathic veterinary hospital and find each animal’s honest and joyful reaction to life inspiring.
I feel that yoga is a journey and we are all students. Creating a space that is accepting, safe and mindful are the main goals of each class I teach.
200hr Certified Yoga Teacher
Mom of three, entrepreneur, photographer and light seeker, music obsessed and always seeking more of myself in the light and the shadows.
I remember my first yoga class. I had never felt that relaxed or breathed that intentionally. And now, as I guide my own guests through a practice, I strive to give them the same sensations and permission to be in the present.
My classes are soulful and relaxing; integrative and introspective. Moved by the music and guided by the connection with the breath and body. Deeply supportive, both in giving permission to be and feel and also using props to support your healing. You will leave feeling rested and lighter having shed some of the emotional weight you carry. This is more than moving the body.
My return to yoga happened within the walls of Wilkie Wellness and I did not turn back. Instead I dig deeper and received my 200 hour YTT in a private intensive with my mentor and friend Sam Wilkie. I am honoured to learn and grow with the Wilkie family.

A little about me… I am a water lover who grew up on the lake, a cat person, and my favorite thing to do is laugh. My journey with health has not been linear! I struggled with an unhealthy relationship with food, and my body, for most of my life. Since age 12 (maybe younger) I thought I was only “being healthy” if I was dieting. This belief, paired with some seriously negative self talk, created an imbalance in my weight and my mental/emotional health.
Luckily, a newfound passion for health and healing led me to to studying reiki energy healing and holistic nutrition. Now, I help women move through similar journeys- healing their relationship with food and their body, and developing self love and healthy body image.

200hr Certified Yoga Teacher
In 2019, I received my 200hr YTT from Pure Living Yoga, and unknowingly walked into a path that would be a completely new landscape.
One of the biggest gifts that yoga has given to me, is providing me with the tools and vulnerability to embrace my heritage. For as long as I can remember I never wanted to be Indigenous, I was embarrassed and ashamed. All I thought I knew about being Indigenous was from hearing the negative things that people had to say. It has taken me 34 years to finally say that I am proud to be a Dakota woman.
In my classes you will experience the culture and wisdom that I have come to embrace. It’s important to me that my students feel supported, and safe as I take them on a journey of movement and breath through the self, to the self.
